Science Collection: The Physics and Math Behind Our Prints
Blacklights' Science Collection turns physics and math concepts into wearable graphic tees. Each design in the collection is built around a real scientific principle, printed on 240 GSM heavyweight cotton in an oversized streetwear fit.
What's in the Science Collection
Angle of Inclination
Explores the geometry of inclined planes - the angle between a slope and the horizontal, a foundational concept in mechanics used to describe motion and force along ramps and slanted surfaces.
Butterfly Effect
Named after the chaos theory concept where small changes in initial conditions can lead to vastly different outcomes - popularized by the idea that a butterfly flapping its wings could theoretically influence a distant storm. Available in both black and white colourways.
Fractal Geometry
Inspired by fractals - infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales, found throughout nature in coastlines, snowflakes, and plant structures.
Archimedes' Principle
Based on the classical physics law describing buoyancy: an object submerged in fluid experiences an upward force equal to the weight of fluid it displaces.
Angular Momentum
References the physics concept describing the rotational equivalent of linear momentum - central to understanding everything from spinning tops to planetary orbits.
Bundle Pricing on Prepaid Orders
The Science Collection is available with bundle pricing for prepaid orders: better per-tee pricing when you buy 2 or 3 tees together. Explore the full Science Collection to see current pricing and designs.
Every tee in the collection is made from 240 GSM heavyweight cotton for a premium, durable, oversized fit - consistent with the rest of the Blacklights streetwear range.
