Archimedes’ Principle | Science Collection
Not every graphic tells a story. Some explain the laws that allow objects to float.
Inspired by Archimedes’ Principle, this design represents one of the fundamental concepts of fluid mechanics. Discovered over 2,000 years ago by the Greek mathematician Archimedes, the principle states that any object partially or completely immersed in a fluid experiences an upward buoyant force equal to the weight of the fluid it displaces.
The crocodile featured in the artwork is a perfect example of this principle in nature. By controlling its buoyancy, it can remain almost completely submerged while effortlessly floating with only its eyes and nostrils above the water. This remarkable balance between gravity and buoyant force allows it to conserve energy, move silently, and remain perfectly adapted to its environment.
The artwork combines scientific diagrams, force vectors, fluid displacement, and mathematical equations with natural illustration, transforming a timeless law of physics into wearable design. It represents the invisible forces constantly acting beneath the surface of water.
Crafted from 240 GSM, 100% premium cotton, this oversized T-shirt combines heavyweight comfort with scientific storytelling, making it more than everyday streetwear. It is designed for those who appreciate physics, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, and thoughtful design.

Design Concept
Archimedes’ Principle explains why objects float, sink, or remain suspended in fluids. When an object enters water, it displaces a portion of the fluid, creating an upward buoyant force. If this buoyant force equals the object’s weight, it reaches neutral buoyancy, allowing it to float in perfect equilibrium.
This principle governs everything from ships, submarines, and hot-air balloons to marine life that naturally controls its position in water. The design captures this delicate balance through force diagrams, water displacement, and the effortless motion of a floating crocodile, turning a foundational law of physics into visual storytelling.
Understand the force. Master the balance.
